At Lemu Lodge we organize a wide array of activities and excursions to enhance your vacation. You'll find everything from relaxing to thrill-seeking as we take you from lakes to mountains to rivers to indigenous communities.
 TREKING PARQUE HUERQUEHUEThis full day guided hike with take you winding through well marked trails to the most beautiful waterfalls, lagoons and lakes that this 12,500 hectare national park has to offer. From the trails you'll have spectacular views of Lago Tinquilco and Volcán Villarrica. Duration: 8 hours |  RAFTING: UPPER TRANCURA (CLASE IV)This stretch of river is a step up from the lower section and perfect for adrenaline seekers. During the 13km descent of wild class IV rapids, you'll catch views of Volcano Villarica and portage around the impressive Saltos de Mariman. Duration: 3-4 hours |  RAFTING: LOWER TANCURA (CLASS III)The Lower Trancura provides an excellent environment for first-time or family rafting. Its exciting class III rapids, volcano views and dense forest make for an unforgettable family adventure. Duration: 3-4 hours |

 RAFTING: FAMILY FLOATINGEnjoy a relaxing float with the whole family down the crystal clear waters of the Middle Liucura River where you are surrounded by dense native forrest. This activity is great for all ages and an ideal opportunity to take some of the most beautiful photos of your trip. Duration: 3-4 hours |  HORSEBACK RIDING: RESERVAThis ride, guided by Caburgua locals who have explored these mountains for centuries, will take you straight from Lemu Lodge on horseback through the dense, native forests of the Reserva Biósfera Araucarias. You'll learn not only the basics of riding, but also of the native flora and fauna. Included in the ride is a traditional Chilean barbeque lunch. Duration: 5 horas |  HORSEBACK RIDING: LAGUNAThis short ride, great for all ages, takes you to the top of a small, dormant volcano where a laguna has formed in the wake of the volcano's crater. The local guides will explain the native flora and fauna of the area. Duration: 2 horas |
 TOUR OF THE AREADiscover the natural wonders of the area, starting with Los Ojos del Caburgua, beautiful, bright blue waterfalls created by underground rivers originating from Lago Caburgua. From there, you will visit El Salto Mariman, an impressive expression of the powerful waters of the Río Trancura, and finally end with a relaxing soak in the Menetue hot springs. Duration: 6 horas |  HOT SPRINGS: GEOMETRICASVisitors with stroll along the wooden footpaths at the base of a narrow canyon that is home to 17 slate covered pools. Geometricas is well-known for its unique architecture and landscaping which incorporates elegance with the natural beauty of the area. Duration: 1 day |  HOT SPRINGS: MENETUEEnjoy a soak in the thermal pools of Menetue. The facilities include both outdoor and indoor hot springs, spa, mud baths, massages, cafe and restaurant with Mapuche, Patagonian and international specialties. Duration: 5 |
 SAILINGLearn the basic techniques of navigating a 22' sailboat in Lago Villarrica in the hands of an expert instructor and guide. The tour will take you around the peninsula to Villarrica's beautiful beaches and to the mouth of the Río Trancura. Duration: 4 horas |  FISHINGThis excursion includes spinning or fly fishing equipment and can be taken as a class, making it perfect for beginners and experts alike. It is a wonderful and instructive journey navigating several Km. of river through native forest and beautiful landscapes accompanied by an expert guide. Duration: 4 horas |  BIRD WATCHINGEnjoy a float down the crystalline waters of the Middle Liucura River while your guide helps you spot the most beautiful and characteristic birds of the Araucania.  VOLCANIC CAVESIn the skirts of Volcano Villarrica there are volcanic caves, empty tunnels created by ancient eruptions. The tour takes you to the depths (250m in) of the caves while the guide explains the formation and seismic activity of the area. Duration: 3 horas |  CLIMB VOLCANO VILLARRICAThe ascent of Villarrica is a once in a lifetime opportunity to climb an active volcano. The climb starts at the ski resort at the base and is a full day hike to the volcano's summit where you'll stand next to its steaming crater and observe numerous lakes and volcanos of the surrounding areas before tobogganing down the volcano's face back to the bottom. Duration: 8 hours |  MAPUCHE TOURThis is a unique way to get to know the art and lifestyle of the indigenous Mapuche communities. Here, you will not only appreciate various artisan products, but also participate in the preparation of typical foods. This tour ends with a visit to the Menetue hot springs where you'll enjoy a soak in the thermal pools. Duration: 3 horas |
